I won't labor on that point as I think you've already gotten some good feedback from the others already. The point that concerns me is that this didn't strike you as a problem in the first place - at least not enough to cause you to do something about it immediately. But at the same time, you are marketing/selling an oil cooler design to other people. If the battery cable routing is an example of your design expertise, I'd be really concerned about details that might have been overlooked when you came up with the oil cooler, fittings, and bracket design. I think it's great that you are trying to do something helpful and productive for the Z enthusiasts. But I am thinking that you might be wandering in to an area that is beyond your abilities. Perhaps you can come up with the ideas and tap some of the subject-matter experts for their input. Not only would you come up with a very sound design/product but you'd most likely learn something in the process that could be helpful later. I hope you see that I'm offering this advice in the best way possible and it's not intended to make you look bad or to imply your oil cooler is a bad design.
